D.I.Wyatt Custom Woodworks began thanks to a supportive wife and a love for woodworking, building things, and a D.I.Y. not B.U.Y. mindset.  My wife and I purchased a new house in December 2015, and having built things with my Dad growing up so the foundation was there.  I had always built things I needed in the places I had lived.  I built my first workbench for the garage back in 2013 at our house and that was the “powerplant” of my operation.

So with the new house, came a new and expansive “Honey-Do” list (which I admit, I am still working on).  If I am not working my full time job down in Atlanta as a project manager, I am at home, spending quality time with my family and brainstorming on the next project.  Whether its demo and remodeling, new furniture pieces, accent pieces, updates to the workshop, there is ALWAYS an ever growing list of things for me to do.

Outside of the shop I love to fly fish, travel visit different sports venues,  and spend time with my family.  We are avid sports fans (Braves, Falcons, Hawks, UGA, and I never thought I would like soccer but ATL United are awesome to watch!).  Baseball was my passion growing up and it always has and always be my favorite sport.  I can’t wait for our son Wyatt (namesake of D.I.Wyatt) to grow up so I can pass along my love for baseball and my love for woodworking.
